  • Prepare the area in which you want to grow the wheat. Smooth the land if it was previously cultivated upon where others wanted to ski Japan. This should be done with a rake. You can then decide to rent out a commercial drill that is attached to a tractor or you could simply use shovel though this may be tiring depending on the size of the area to be ploughed. The area should be ploughed and long deep trenches dug out for furniture rental.
  • Natural manure is the best if compared to artificial fertilizer so make sure you spread a thin layer of it over the soil you have just ploughed. The manure will ensure that the wheat stalks grow healthily. Using a semi circular hand movement, flick the wheat seeds into the trenches you’ve dug. If the area is generally a dry place then it is advised that you sprinkle only a small amount of seeds. This is because wheat, as a crop, uses up a lot of water.
  • If you plant the wheat during the summer, it is important that you water it up to 3 times daily because wheat uses up the water pretty fast. During winter, you don’t have to water the wheat that much. Once every 3 days should be enough. However, it is important that at the beginning of spring season, you should continuously check the water level of the soil and inspect the wheat to see if there are any signs of parched leaves or withering stalks. It would be a better investment of time and money if you were to purchase a commercial sprinkler with which you can irrigate the land with mirror replacement.
  • Inspect your crops often to catch any tell tale signs of an outbreak of pests. It is required that you spray the crops with pesticides, or fungicides, every now and then. If you notice that you may have pests and they are getting out of control, it is best that you quickly inform an agriculturalist and decide on the best way to handle the situation.
